Three years after ripping off casino owner Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia) in Las Vegas, Danny Ocean (George Clooney) and his gang (Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, et al.) have settled down. Until the revenge-seeking Benedict contacts them all one-by-one with this: pay back what you stole from me, with interest, or else let hilarity ensue. They have two weeks to come up with $190 million dollars. In addition to the swiftly approaching deadline, they have to dodge tenacious Europol agent Isabel Lehiri (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and out-maneuver another thief known only as "The Night Fox" (Vincent Cassel). It all culminates in Ocean's 12 taking on the biggest heist ever...and also the biggest con!
Trivia: Bruce Willis, who appears as himself in the film, was originally signed to play Danny Ocean in Ocean's Eleven, but pulled out due to scheduling conflicts. While on production in Rome, Brad Pitt and George Clooney were not allowed back into the hotel because the doorman thought they were vagrants after the actors were caught in a rain storm while jogging. When filming scenes in Sicily, security was tightened because several members of the Sicilian mafia were seen roaming near the shooting locations. Before filming began, Brad Pitt put out a memo to all crew members stating that they only address George Clooney as his character's name Danny Ocean or Mr. Ocean. Eventually Clooney found out about this and got back at Pitt by putting bumper stickers on the back of his car that read "I'm gay and I vote" and "Small penis on board". When Bruce Willis is in Tess's (Julia Roberts) hotel room, Linus (Matt Damon) says to Bruce, "We're looking to come off this pregnancy thing strong. You know, that little statue on the mantle starts smirking at you after a while, know what I mean?" Bruce says no, he doesn't. Both Julia Roberts and Matt Damon have been awarded Oscars, while Willis has not.
Usually the sequel is supposed to be more spectacular then the original. This wasn't. Considering the fact that this is a heist movie and sequel to a heist movie you would think the heist would be better. The original (Well, the 2001 original) heist was actually pretty cool. Now in and of itself it is a nice movie and had some cool bits (the funniest part is when Julie Robert's character Tess pretends to be Julie Roberts) It is also very difficult to talk about a heist movie without revealing the details of the heist and ruining it for someone else so I am going to shut up now.

I thought this movie extremely boring. It was really, really slow and I wasn't impressed at all by it. Makes me not want to see Ocean's 13.
