The American Film Institute has released it's top 100 movie quotes. If you keep up with my blog, you will find that I love movies. I particularly love movie quotes. If you notice, there is a quote on my title banner. This quote will change so keep watching.
Ok so back to the AFI top 100. The famous quote from Rhett Butler in Gone With The Wind came in first. I checked out the list and found myself acting out the quotes as I read them. From Nicholson's "You can't handle the truth" in A Few Good Men to Charlton Heston's "Get your stinking paws off me, you damned dirty ape" from Planet Of The Apes to Tom Hanks' "Houston, we have a problem" in Apollo 13, you always hear people quoting movies. (just a little aside, I live in Houston, I have heard that quote too many times)

You are so right. My little family is always, always quoting movies. New quote now being said a lot in our house...quess the movie "He's not the king, I'm the king. See look, I have a crown." and at the end of the movie..."You can have that crown because I have a bigger one. See, it even has a geiko. Ooooo watch it wiggle."

Sixth Sense? that had a kid in it. The Heffalump Movie? Cinderfella? Muppets From Space? Resevoir Dogs? Striptease? Okay, I give up.
LOL, you guys are pathetic. Don't you ever go see new kid movies? It's Madagascar. Gee whizz. Mick you even have kids.
Anyways, our favorite character in the movie is the lemur king. The movie is not all the great, way too much talking and not enough action, but the boys got the crown line from it. You should hear Colby say it, with accent and all. Very cute.
And yes, we love our Shrek. Mainly we love Mike Myers. He gets quoted from all his movies in our house. "His head is like an orange on a toothpick."
