Viggo Mortensen who played Aragorn in the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy replaced Stuart Townsend after 4 days of shooting due to creative differences. Viggo now owns the horse he rode during the films, having bought it from the owner after shooting ended.
Welcome, Foolish Mortals!

Who is Stuart Townsend? Then again, who was Viggo Mortensen before Lord of the Rings.
The biggest thing Stuart Townsend has been in was the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen with Sean Connery (He played Dorian Grey) and he played Lestat the Vampire in Queen of the Damned
Viggo was in 28 Days with Sandra Bullock and G.I. Jane with Demi Moore and is a soap opera verteran from Search For Tomorrow
Viggo also played Clay in The Passion of Darkly Noon
Hey, I remember him in 28 Days. We were re-watching it the other day and I pointed out to Eric (who doesn't care) that Viggo was the king in the Lord of the Rings. But, 28 days was made before the Rings so I wouldn't have known him the first time I watched the movie. And, I don't watch soap operas.
I know who he is now. I liked him in that movie where he's racing his horse across the desert (of which I can't remember the name right now).
Hidalgo, although I haven't seen it. It is the story of a young baseball player from Venezuela who made it to th big leagues with the Houston Astros and is now with the Texas Rangers and...huh? That isn't what the movie is about? A horse race? In Arabia? It's now a biography of Richard Hidalgo? Okay, um...sorry...you can go about your business...Thank you.
You've confused me. Hidalgo is the one about the horse race across Arabia. What in the world are you talking about a baseball player?
