Robert Stack starred in the very first full length movie filmed in 3-D. It was called Bwana Devil (1952) and told the story of the 1898 Tsavo Lion attacks where two man-eating lions killed 130 people in nine months and terrorized a group of railroad workers in Kenya. The story was retold in The Ghost And The Darkness with Michael Douglas and Val Kilmer, although not in 3-D.
