Richard Gere practically owes his film career to John Travolta. Travolta turned down the leads for Days of Heaven (1978), American Gigolo (1980), An Officer and a Gentleman (1982), and Chicago (2002) all of which went to Gere. Gere won a Golden Globe award for playing Billy Flynn in Chicago.

Hello? ? ?
Will, I think you should do something on Elisabeth Shue. It would generate more interest.
Well, I'm not too much of a Richard Gere fan....he's an over-actor, just like Nicole Kidman. But Johnny? I have maybe three all time favorite actors and Johnny boy is one of those. Ever since Grease and Saturday Night Fever!!!
Johnny boy? Never heard him called that before. And Anonymous Ken...Up your nose with a rubber hose!
