Trivia Tuesday: Hollywood Walk Of Fame

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is Hollywood's tribute to the Hollywood Stars of yesterday and today. This is where the Stars are immortalized with a star on the sidewalk in their honor.

Hollywood Stars can receive a star in one of five catagories - Motion Pictures - Television - Radio - Recording or Live Theatre.

Only one performer has been honored with all five stars. Can you name this performer?

I was going to say someone like Barbara Streisand until you gave the clue about the horse. I'm with Mick...Gene Autry.

Yep. Gene Autry "the Singing Cowboy" is the only one with all five stars

We went to the walk of fame with all the stars when we were in Cali. It was very cool. Plus, we went to the theater with all the stars foot and hand prints in the cement. John Waynes feet are very small.

I checked and Barbra Streisand has one, and it is for motion pictures, not music or recording.

What? was 'Anonymous Ken' out of pocket tonight?

Anonymous Ken, I'm sorry to say, is not a regular reader of my Blog. He checks it very infrequently.

Gene Autry may have also been the only person on the Walk of Fame to own a baseball team, the Angels. I believe Bing Crosby was a part owner of one, maybe the Pittsburgh Pirates? Bill Murray owns a minor league team, I believe. These are just off the top of my head, need to do some research.
