The winds are starting to pick up and the rain continues but it is not hard rain yet. Those wacky reporters are catching the brunt of the storm. They have even brought in at least one reporter from "our sister station" in Florida who has covered 10 storms. Whoo Hoo! An expert. Now we will see what real storm reporting is like...It's raining, it's windy, the electricity hasn't gone off yet...wow, amazing, at least she was pretty cute...under the raincoat...I guess. They sent her to Galveston, which is not in the storms path now, they are only getting tropical storm force winds.
More evidence that national news doesn't have a clue. A man from CNN was talking to a reporter in Beaumont, or Port Arthur or one of those places. The camera showed the reporter under the light of a street light, panned up to the street light to show some of the rain. His question? "Can you tell if there is still any power on at this time?"
Where do they find these people?
