Well, I decided that because of my breathing machine that I would try to get back into town. I called my friend at my apartments that stayed in town so I knew I had power at my apartment. Highway 59 was open from at least Porter all the way in. So I am home.
The Red Barn is still without power at this time and there are estimates that some of the 600,000 people without power could go two weeks before power is restored. Hopefully Mom and Dad don't have to wait that long.
