Noon Friday: The upper Texas coast is starting to feel the winds of Rita. I can see the first clouds here and a little breeze. Coldspring is 117 miles for Galveston. Right now the eye is forecast to pass us to the east. We are forecast to be on the edge of the hurricane strength wind. We are still in THE CONE OF UNCERTAINTY! Sounds ominous doesn't it.
