Trivia Tuesday: Conspiracy Theory

In the movie JFK (1991) Kevin Costner plays a character named Jim Garrison who is convinced that Lee Harvey Oswald was part of a conspiracy to assassinate John F. Kennedy.

But...in another movie his character stated "I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone."

Can you name the character that made this statement? And what movie was it in?

Bonus Question: Who were his two co-stars and what was their character's names?

I believe the movie was Bull Durham. I have no clue Kevin's character name though. He co-starred with Tim Robbins, again, no clue about character name. Eric might know the character names, this is one of his favorite movies.

Bull Durham is right. Anyone else?

His character's name in Bull Durham was Crash something, Davis, I think. Susan Sarandon was his other co-star, but I don't know her character name. Tim Robbins (isn't Susan Sarandon his wife?) was called "Nuke" or something like that.

Jim Garrison was a real person, a District Attorney in New Orleans, I believe. Of course, JFK was a true story, sort of.

Well, we pretty much got all the details right. Costner played Crash Davis in Bull Durham. His two co-stars were Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins as Annie Savoy and Nuke LaLoosh, respectivly. Sarandon and Robbins have two children together.

By the way the complete quote (PG version) is:
Annie Savoy: What do you believe in, then?
Crash Davis: Well, I believe in the soul, the ****, the *****, the small of a woman's back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days.
[pause]
Crash Davis: Goodnight.
Annie Savoy: Oh my.
