Well, I'm having trouble with this one. But I know D is Martin Sheen as President Jed Bartlet from The West Wing.

Okay, hints on A and B.

If you watched these two movies you will see all but one of the following actors: Ian Holm, Gary Oldman, Kiefer Sutherland, Ernest Borgnine, Adrienne Barbeau, Luke Perry, or Lee Van Cleef.

Okay, no takers? Next Hint.

The two stars of the two movies are Bruce Willis and Kurt Russell.

Okay, I will let ya'll off the hook.

A: Donald Pleasence as President of the United States in Escape From New York (Starring Kurt Russell, Ernest Borgnine, Adrienne Barbeau, and Lee Van Cleef). The only President without a name, he's just known as the President.

B: Tommy "Tiny" Lister as President Lindberg in The Fifth Element (starring Bruce Willis, Ian Holm, Gary Oldman, and Luke Perry). The only president not of the United States, he is the President of the Federated Territories.

C: Bill Pullman as President Thomas J. Whitmore in Independence Day. Got to kick a bunch of alien butt.

D: Martin Sheen as President Jed Bartlett on the West Wing, the only TV prez on the list.

E: Kevin Kline as President Ulysses S. Grant in Wild Wild West. The only real U.S. President on the list.

(Keifer Sutherland was the actor that was not in The Fifth Element or Escape From New York)
