Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

Legend has it that a tortured soul called Davy Jones lives beneath the sea, his still-beating broken heart locked away in a chest, and a terrible sea beast at his command. Unfortunately for the notorious pirate, Captain Jack Sparrow, this particular legend is very real. Years ago, Jack made a deal with Davy Jones, who is now expecting him to make good on his promise by handing himself over to Jones's servitude. But Jack will not give in without a fight, which is especially bad news for Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann, who always seem to get caught up in Jack's mishaps. If Jack can't find a way to rid himself of Davy Jones once and for all, it may just spell the end for the three adventurers. Hilarity ensues.

Trivia: This was first time Johnny Depp portrayed the same character in more than one movie. For the films release, the Walt Disney Company had the Pirates of the Caribbean rides in Walt Disney World and Disneyland redesigned to feature captain Jack Sparrow, Barbossa, and an appearance by the films' supernatural character Davy Jones as part of the attraction and will be featured beginning on the film's opening day. The Black Pearl is the only ship in the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and its sequel which operate under power. All others are built atop other ships such as barges with only the portions seen by the cameras completed.

There is just something about pirates, both guys and girls like them, and that is good for Hollywood. Yes, I was one of the millions that went to see this movie this weekend. It made more money on the first day than any movie ever, and the most money ever on the opening weekend. All in all it was a great movie. Very fun to watch. Johnny Depp made Captain Jack Sparrow, a guy that is a best a scoundrel, very lovable and you were rooting for him. Orlando Bloom's character has the greatest name ever in a movie, Will (okay I am biased, but I just love Keira Knightly saying "Will" all the time). And speaking of Keira Knightly (Mmmmmm...Keira Knightly) I personally like her shorter hair style (She had it cut for Domino), she is still babe-ilicious. The suprise at the end will make you wish Pirates 3 was going to open this weekend. Can't wait for the next one.
