The Blair Thumb (2002)

In October of some year three film students, Stressie, Jish, and Vic, make a student film about a local urban legend... The Blair Thumb. The three went into the woods on a two day hike to find the Blair Thumb, without a tripod, and never came back. One year later, the students film and video was found in the woods. The footage was compiled and made into a movie. Hilarity ensues.

Trivia: In case you haven't figured it out, all the characters were portrayed by thumbs.
Okay, I know that this is a short film, but it is probably as close to the Blair Witch Project as I ever get, I still haven't decided if I am going to watch it. This little filmette was actually very funny, although it would probably have been funnier if I had actually seen BWP. The thumbs are really well done (they have full on CGI faces).

I thought that the Blair Witch Project was done well, filmed in that home video type of way and really made you think the movie was a true story. And....it scared me silly. I know you and horror movies so I suggest you skip it. It's not a slasher movie, it's all psychological.
