Sunday Night Trivia: Let's Put On A Show

These two actors were paired together ten times on screen. Both started their careers as adolescent stars and their movies together are known for their light-heartedness. Both started their show business careers in a family act. Both joined the MGM Pantheon of Stars. Together they were nominated for 6 Academy Awards, where given two special Academy Awards and one honorary Academy Award for lifetime acheivement, a Grammy for lifetime acheivement, has six stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I didn't even think about them. I was torn between Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, Abbot and Costella or Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Now I understand the grammy part of the question.

By the way when you changed over from Blogger to Beta blogger did you have to alter all your side bar stuff, or did it do it automatically?

I guess the word "actors" threw y'all. I always struggle with using actor versus actress. Darn you politically correctness!

The "showbiz family" thing was a clue..Mickey's parents were vaudeville performers and Judy was in a family act called "The Gum Sisters". Gum was her real family name. Also, Mickey, (not his real name) is now married to Janet Chamberlin, and so am I. :-)
