Welcome to the long awaited recap of my Bond Revisited series in which I went back and watched all the Bond movies. So lets get started. There have been 21 official movies and two unofficial ones including a parody. So who is the best Bond? Well, here is my list:
1. Sean Connery - The first and by far the best, he set the bar very high indeed.
2. Roger Moore - The Bond I grew up with, his flippant humor made him great.
3. Pierce Brosnan - His movies were filled to the brim with spectacular stunts and he was able to get the feel of Bond right.
4. George Lazenby - A serviceable Bond, but with only one film, he didn't make a big impression.
5. Daniel Craig - He has potential but again, only one film to go off of.
6. Timothy Dalton - For some reason he didn't fit well, maybe he was too serious.
Top Five Villians
1. Auric Goldfinger - Goldfinger - The right mix of genius and viciousness. "You expect me to talk?", "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die."
2. Ernst Stavro Blofeld - From Russia With Love (Hands Only), Thunderball (Hands Only), You Only Live Twice, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Diamonds Are Forever - The only multimovie villain, Blofeld was an equal to Bond.
3. Francisco Scaramanga - The Man With The Golden Gun - The million dollar a shot assassin is probably the most formidable of the villains, most of the others are just masterminds who have henchmen do their killing.
4. Dr. Julius No - Dr. No - It's got to be the metal hand that can crush anything.
5. Elektra King - The World Is Not Enough - Not only is she one of the few women villains, she masquerades as a good guy for most of the film.

1. Jaws - The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker - What more can you say? The Iconic Bond Henchman.
2. Oddjob - Goldfinger - The hat makes the man.
5. Nick Nack - The Man With The Golden Gun - What can you say about a guy that hires men to come in and try to kill his master?

Interestingly though he has only made 1 film so far, the critics have said that Craig is the best Bond since Connelly and he puts the B back in Bond, ie Balls!
I think that was just hype for the movie. He was good and if he keeps it up he will be able to climb the ladder but we will just have to see.
