Happy Father's Day

Another year and another Father's Day. Thank you Dad for being there for me. I had a fun day yesterday with you letterboxing in the rain. (Mom was getting her hair done). In my job I see many fathers who are not up to snuff, who abandon their children, who abuse drugs and abuse their wifes and children. It reminds me how extremely lucky I am to have you and Mom as my parents.

Mick, you have three kids now and you continue to amaze me on how wonderful you are with them. I hope that if I ever become a father I am as loving and caring as you are.

Eric, not only have you raised two fine boys, but you have done it while defending my country. You can't imagine how proud I am when I tell people my brother-in-law is in the Navy.

And finally, Yeah me, I got my first Father's Day Card from my Godson Noah. It was an unexpected but welcome surprise. Thank you Kara, for thinking of me.

To all you father's out there, Happy Father's Day.

I had a fun day with you, too, son. A man can't be considered a good father unless he has great children, and I have 3 of them. Thank you.
