Music and movies have been inseperable since the first silent film was shown in the theaters acompanied by a piano player. 1964 saw the Beatles and A Hard Days Night which included musical segments that established the look and feel of modern day music videos. That same year, The Beatles began filming short promotional films for their songs which were distributed for broadcast on television variety shows in other countries, primarily the U.S. The use of video recording and editing in the late seventies and early eighties really brought on the modern era of music videos. Soon producers saw the benifit of promoting movies using music videos which brings me to today's trivia question. Below you will see 8 stills for 8 music videos with movie ties. Name the song, the artist, and the movie that it is promoting. As a bonus, tell me which two have a connection (it is a very obvious one if you identify the videos correctly). Good Luck.

Great Job Kim! Whoo Hoo! Except...
The "Y" in Fiona Apply needs to change places with the "E" in Coyote Ugle. ;-)
Besides that you got them all right, but you didn't give me the bonus answer. Did you figure it out?
I would have got 1,2,5,6 and 7. But wouldn't have got the rest. Thanks to Kim though the link has to be Austin Powers, as two of the songs are from this film.
Cheers Will
Opps, I just forgot to write it down. Yes, Beautiful Stranger and American Woman both were from the same Austin Powers movie, The Spy Who Shagged Me. I was typing way too fast and it was time for bed. :o)
Well, I did say it was pretty obvious if you got them right, I just figured you forgot to say it.
