Well, since I haven't had the time to watch the next Sundance Grand Prize Winner, I thought I would jump the gun on the trivia by a day (although Kim is in Venice and Dave is on a plane to somewhere exotic and they are my main contributors). Here is the deal, I will tell you a brief plot, you tell me the movie. (Bonus points if you can give me the theme).
1. A young Texas Ranger is charged with bringing a man back to justice. On the way the two men become reluctant friends and hilarity ensues. (this movie stars a true war hero from Texas)
2. Hilarity ensues when two detectives search for a serial killer on a mission who justifies his crimes by taking it out on those he considers sinners.
3. While World War II rages at home an Austrian mountain climber travels to Tibet to climb Mt. Naga Parbet and eventually meets the Dalai Lama and hilarity ensues.
4. After a man sends his wife and children to the country during the sweltering summer he revels in temporary bachelorhood until he meets a beautiful neighbor. Hilarity ensues.
5. A man and his brothers develop a plan to solve their search for wives. Kidnapping. Hilarity ensues.
6. A group of men take in a lonely lost young woman whose family wouldn't mind seeing her dead. Hilarity ensues.
7. A village being harassed by bandits recruit a group of men to protect them from hilarity ensuing.
Good Luck, We're All Counting On You.

Cool Beans Ira, You Rock!
You got them all (I would also have accepted Seven Samuri for number 7.)
Nope, I haven't seen Seven Chances (wasn't the Bachelor based on it though?) I heard that somewhere. Sounds like a funny movie.
By the way, the life life true war hero from Texas is Audie Murphy who is the most decorated combat soldier in World War II. He recieved 33 decorations including the Congressional Medal Of Honor.
Goodness, great trivia. I read through them and didn't have a clue on any of them. Way to go ira. I do so much better on your visual quizzes. :o(
