Actor Profile: Morgan Freeman

Morgan Freeman is one of my favorite actors. He has been in some very good movies. Million Dollar Baby, Se7en, The Shawshank Redemption, Unforgiven, and Glory.

In my opinion he has the second best voice in the entertainment business behind James Earl Jones. His dulcet voice just rolls off the screen. It is very recognizable as his.

Freeman has been nominated for four Academy Awards. He was nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 1989 for Driving Miss Daisy and 1994 for The Shawshank Redemption. He was nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in 1987 for Street Smart and won in 2004 for Million Dollar Baby.

Born in 1937, Freeman first appeared as an extra in 1964's The Pawnbroker and is currently in War Of The Worlds as the Narrator.

Quick Trivia: Morgan Freeman has a private pilot's license. He appeared as Easy Reader and other characters on the "Electric Company" produced by the Children's Television Workshop

But you are a smart fellow, Will, even if you have a profile picture that looks like South Park :o)

I adore Morgan Freeman. He's a great actor, so calm and accomodating on screen. I've never thought about the voice thing, but now that you mention it, he does have a great voice. That's cool about Easy Reader.
