Traditionally in Peter Pan movies/plays, the actor that plays Captain Hook also play Mr. Darling, Wendy's father. In the movie Hook (1991) the story centers on Peter Banning (Robin Williams) a grown up Peter Pan, not Wendy, so we do not see Mr. Darling.
The filmmakers came up with a novel way to continue the tradition. Dustin Hoffman, who plays Captain James Hook, can also be heard over the intercom as the pilot on the plane Peter Banning takes to England. And what does he say?... "This is your captain speaking..."

Yes, he actually forgot he was Peter Pan. The premis of the movie, "what if Peter Pan grew up?" He became a lawyer specializing in corporate takeover's or as Wendy says, "So, Peter, you've become a pirate."
I haven't seen this movie. I do like Robin Williams though. I guess I should rent it.
I watched a very good movie today with Kevin Spacey in it. Beyond the Sea It was a biography about Bobby Darin. Kevin Spacey starred as Bobby Darin and Spacey also directed the film. It was an excellent movie for a lazy Sunday afternoon.
