Into the Belly of the Whale

Today I got to ride on one of Southwest Airlines theme planes, Shamu 1, the one that started it all.

I was on a business trip to Kim's old haunt, Corpus Christi, delivering a brief to the Thirteenth Court of Appeals. While standing in line to get a good seat on the trip back (Southwest uses open seating so first come first serve. On the trip to Corpus I had to sit between two guys that were easily my size.) , I watched Shamu 1 (they have three) land and taxi around and I thought, "Hey, their coming to my gate!" Then I thought, "Hey, Corpus Christi only has five gates!" Then I thought, "Why does anyone care what I am thinking, My sister is having trouble getting any prepositions in her Italian class!" (See Kim's Picture Blog) Then I thought, "My blog isn't making any sense!"

Oh well, I will admit that I was a little disappointed to find out that the inside of the plane doesn't look like the inside of a whale. I am waiting to get on Southwest's Lone Star 1, I keep thinking that when I fly to Austin, I might get to ride it, but I haven't yet.

Will, you are just too much. I even looked up the word preposition to make sure I used it correctly. I have a crazy brother. You had me second guessing myself.

Anyways, when we lived in San Diego, we had yearly passes to SeaWorld (home of Shamu). One day while we were at SeaWorld, the Shamu plane flew overhead. We thought it was pretty darn cool being at SeaWorld and seeing the plane at the same time.
