What is your favorite performance of character in a movie?
For me it is Roger "Verbal" Kint played by Kevin Spacey in The Usual Suspects. Verbal Kint is the crippled survivor of a group of five criminals. Verbal is the narrator who is being interrogated by Agent Kujan (Chaz Palminteri). Verbal and the four other "usual suspects" are hired by the seemingly omnipotent "Keyser Soze" to exact revenge on a rival. But the real question is "who is Keyser Soze?" Spacey delivers the answer...or does he.
Your turn.

My favorite character in a movie (and you know I have to go back a bit) is Atticus Finch, played, of course, by Gregory Peck in "To Kill a Mockingbird". He's what every man would like to be: a good father, an honorable man, never patronizing, even to his children (especially to his children), but not above compromising (unlike many lawyers today), if good could be served. As he asked scout, "Do you know what compromise is?...It's an agreement made by mutual consent."
Good one
I believe my favorite character would be Forrest Gump played by Tom Hanks. His innocence gave him the ability to overlook the bad things that happen in a lifetime, and to not take advantage of the good things. Stupid is as stupid does is always a good way to live life.
I like Dad's pick. I loved the movie and the book.
Another nice choice, "My name is Forrest Gump. People call me Forrest Gump."
My favorite movie character is probably Indiana Jones.
Good Choice, I can't argue with any of your choices. Good Show
Donald Sutherland as Sgt. Oddball, the tank commander, in Kelly's Heroes. Just the right amount of goofiness. A really excellent war picture.
