My definition of a movie franchise includes a group of three or more movies based on the same characters and/or story line.
The most prolific movie franchise, the 20 James Bond movies, have not done well at the box office (relatively speaking) placing only one movie (Die Another Day, ranked 117) in the top 150 all time domestic box office list.
Two movie franchises have been able to place all of their movies into the all time top 25 domestic box office list (according to Movies.com).
Movie Franchise A has brought in a whopping $2,182,814,869 domestically.
Movie Franchise B didn't do too bad with $1,033,590,253 domestically.
Can you name these two franchises?
Can you name movies included in these franchises?
Bonus Question: Can you name the order on the list that they appear by franchise? (Hint: They are not in order)

A. Star Wars. Return of the Jedi, The Empire Strikes Back, A new Hope, Phantom Menace, Revenge of the Syth, The Clone Wars.
B. Star Trek.
Keem and Eric are right, A is correct. The Star Wars Franchise consists of (in episode order) The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. These six movies have averaged 363 million dollars a movie. 19 million more then franchise B's per movie average, which, unfortunately for Keem and Eric is not Star Trek.
Still looking for Franchise B and the Bonus Questions.
Who the heck is Keem anyways?
Keem is the pronounciation of my name whilst in Italia. Because Italians pronounce their i's always as an eeee sound, my Italian teacher called me Keem. Eric has adobpted this pronounciation and writes the name Keem on everything pertaining to me. My email from his work even says Keem, my spont on the Goldminer game is Keem. So, Eric typed the answer last night and thus, the name Keem.
How about B is Jurrasic Park?
Okay Keem, I was just messing with ya, Jurrasic Park is not it. Think recent epic.
Oh, Oh....I got it. It just hit me when I read recent.
Harry Potter. and the Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and lastly Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
It's going to be that or The Lord of the Rings. I'm going with Harry.
Well, it's not "that"...
So, I guess since it's not that, it's Lord of the Rings then.
