Sorry no pictures this week, the following men are iconic, so pictures would be way to easy. I will describe a fictional father and you tell me the name of the character, the name of the actor, and the name of the TV show they were on. Please email your answers to me. Don't worry, Father Knows Best is not one of the answers...or is it?
1. Hello, I am the father of three boys, Robbie, Chip, and Ernie. I am a widower. For a while the boy's grandfather lived with us and then his brother came and helped take care of the house. I am an aeronautical engineer.
2. Hi, I am the widowed father of a young son. I am a very important man in my small town and everyone knows me. My aunt lives with me and helps me raise my son like she raised me.
3. Geez, I am nothing like those first two guys. I am the father of a daughter and I am still married to a wonderful woman, even if she is a dingbat. I have been known to be very opinionated and I am not very fond of my daughter's choice of a husband.
4. Whoo Hoo! It's my turn. I am the father of two, no, three little brats, um, I mean kids. The boy does get on my nerves some times but my daughter is already smarter then me. When I get down, my friends can always cheer me up with a beer...mmm...beer.
5. Welcome! I am the father of two little monsters. We are so proud. I am passionately in love with my wife, especially when she speaks French! We like long walks in the moonlight through the cemetery. We live with my mother and brother in a large mansion.
6. I am the father of three children, two boys and a girl (although my oldest son just kind of disappears. Later on one of my son's friends moves in above the garage and he essentially becomes part of the family. I own a hardware store.
7. I am different then most of the fathers on this list because both of my boys are grown men, and unfortunately they are snobs. I don't know where they get that from. I was injured on the job and because of this an English physical therapist lives with us.
8. I should be pretty easy to identify. I am a widower with three sons. Once I meet a woman who had three daughters and we knew that this bunch should get together.
9. I am just a simple man. I live with my animal loving daughter, my cantankerous mother-in-law, and my cousin's son. We have a large place with a cement pond out back.
10. My situation is radically different then the rest. My TV son is my real son and my TV wife is my real wife. We wrote her pregnancy into the story line and the episode in which she gave birth was seen by 68% of American Televisions and was seen by more people then any other Television show up to that time.

Well, there's your problem, Nunis. Think 60s (actually think 1 from the 50s, 5 that started in the 60s, 2 from the 70s, and 1 each from the 80s and 90s.)
