Friday, 1:30 - I've Been Everywhere

Boston, Charleston, Dayton, Louisiana, Washington, Houston, Kingston, Texarkana,
Monterey, Ferriday, Santa Fe, Tallapoosa, Glen Rock, Black Rock, Little Rock,
Oskaloosa, Tennessee, Hennessey, Chicopee, Spirit Lake, Grand Lake, Devil's Lake,
Crater Lake, for Pete's sake.
I've been everywhere, man; I've been everywhere, man
'Cross the deserts bare, man, I've breathed the mountain air, man
Of travel, I've had my share, man, I've been everywhere.

I thought I would give you a sense of where I am. I am in Coldspring. A town in San Jacinto County Texas (the big red arrow is pointing at me. That blue line on the left? That is the projected path of Ike.

As you can see, if it follows the projected path, we will be on the east side, or the dirty side. This is where the most damage will be. During Hurricane Rita the dam on the Trinity River that holds in Lake Livingston almost broke. If it did it wouldn't affect us much since it would flow down the Trinity. But I would hate to be down river from it.
